Issue #38 - On Freedom & Last Minute Adventures

Hey,

When I was 17 (10 years ago) I read a book that changed the course of my life. 

The book had this one idea that stuck with me - “The New Rich” 

This idea redefined what wealth was as not the number of zeros in your bank account but rather the degree of freedom that was available to you at this moment. 

I realized that at the end of the day, what we’ll take from life is not how much money we made but how well we lived.

Side Note: This email is not a knock on making money nor are these two ideas mutually exclusive. The beauty of the internet and online business is that it makes these two worlds - financial abundance & freedom - accessible to anyone who’s willing to put in the work.

Personally, I’ve been working toward this ideal ever since,

And this past week was very much the embodiment of that.

After randomly meeting someone who caught my interest…

On a whim, I decided to re-arrange what could be re-arranged in my schedule and take a last min trip with her to Cartagena, Colombia because, well, I could.

We explored the city, ate at the best restaurants, spent a day on a private island, and made some unforgettable memories.

Most people don’t experience this level of freedom well into retirement and by then what are the odds they’ll have the opportunity or zest for life to go on an adventure like this?

Something to think about…

If you were to ask me why I do what I do,

The answer would be - "So more people experience things like these."

Everything I do is grounded in helping people like you find freedom through digital entrepreneurship. 

I know this email is a little different than my usual emails…

It's less focused on teaching you something and more on getting you to think about what life could look like if you finally went for it.
